What is equity finance?

Equity finance is a type of funding which sits behind a senior debt facility or “first charge” loan. A property developer will sometime use equity funding to reduce the amount of capital which they are required to contribute to a property development scheme.

How much does equity funding cost?

Equity funding is priced on a bespoke basis. Most equity funders will require an overview of the proposed funding facility and then they will make an offer.
